Door County Distillery is one of the few hand-crafted distilleries in the state of Wisconsin and the first in Door County to produce vodka, gin and fruit infused vodka. The distillery is reminiscent of the casual, pastural surroundings of Door County and showcased in the stone-barn style feel of the building's exterior, yet modern and elegant inside, showcasing the copper still and small batch, on

-site production. The Distillery is classic Door County, as are the spirits, distilled with clean, limestone infused waters from the Door Peninsula. The first series release pays homage to the waters surrounding the county featuring the doors of lighthouses located in Door County. Come visit the new distillery open daily 9:00-6:00, with complimentary tastings.

More Free Live Music is on the way this Friday! Join us for Courtney Paulson tomorrow, Friday, August 21st from 4-7 PM in the Wine and Cocktail Garden. National Rum Day was Sunday, August 16th, but we must be on island time because we’re just getting around to celebrating today 🏝️😎. Our rum lineup has something for everyone and so many fun cocktail possibilities.

Speaking of, have you tried our new Rum Rita yet? Added to our cocktail menu in May, the Rum Rita starts with our Citrus Rum and adds triple sec, lime juice, and sour soda for a refreshing zing of citrus you’ll want to keep coming back to. Cheers!

It's Friday, which means we've got more Free Live Music today in the Wine and Cocktail Garden! Amelia Ford Music will be playing a collection of covers and originals from 4-7 PM. Amelia is a Nashville recording artist and has won Wisconsin musician awards so come check her out! We've got plenty of spirit flights, cocktails, and slushies to go around. We hope you'll join us and have some summer fun!

Did you know we have Door County Distillery infused maple syrup? We partner with J&T Sugar Shack, a local maple syrup producer, and give them some of our used Bourbon and Single Malt Whisky barrels. They age their maple syrup in the barrels and then we get some to sell. We also get the Bourbon barrels back from J&T and then make our Maple Bourbon!

We just got a fresh batch of both maple syrups in at the distillery. Be sure to pick up a bottle of one or both on your next visit!

Restock plus new options! Wood Stove Kitchen syrups and mixers have been flying off the shelves, so we just got more of our most popular mixes back in stock.

We also ordered two additional mixes: Apple Hot Toddy (which goes great with our Apple Brandy) and Salted Caramel Espresso Martini! This may be our last order of the season so stop in today to buy your favorites or try something new before they disappear! Cheers!

Ready for ? We’re at the very end of Door County cherry season, so today’s cocktail begins with our Cherry Moonshine. We distill the moonshine and then hand scoop fresh Door County Montmorency tart cherries into each jar before sealing. This gives the moonshine a natural cherry flavor and each cherry a powerful moonshine punch perfect for a garnish or float. Cheers!

Cherry Moonshine Sunrise

1 1/2 oz Door County Distillery Cherry Moonshine
2 oz orange juice
1/2 oz grenadine
Club soda to fill*
3 moonshine cherries for garnish

Add Cherry Moonshine and orange juice to a cocktail glass filled with ice. Slowly pour in the grenadine and wait until it sinks to the bottom. Add club soda. Garnish with moonshine cherries.

*If you like a sweeter cocktail, sub lemon lime soda.

We can’t believe it’s already been a week since Alex Strouf and Mr. Irrelevant had their live broadcast right in the Wine and Cocktail Garden. Big thanks to Alex, Josh, Will (holding it down in HQ) and the whole ESPN Madison ESPN Milwaukee crew for coming up. It was a fun afternoon and great to see the podcast in person! Thanks also to anyone who joined us for all or part of the show. We hope we can make this an annual tradition so if you missed it, stay tuned for next year. Cheers!
