I have started bowl turning. This is a piece of ambrosia maple I had laying around my shop that I bought at a woodworkers show several years ago. Thought it was time to find out if there really was a bowl hiding in that piece of wood.

My wife asked me to engrave some bible verses on some bookmarks she bought (lion, wolf & eagle) picture but she was a bit dismayed how thick they were so playing around with a thinner material in the bee and lion picture.

Whoo Hoo Monday I have been taking it up a notch. I have bought my transplants in the past because attempting to grow them from seed in a windowsill resulted in Week spindly seedlings. Today the the first seedlings have started to emerge and I am now using a grow light so let’s hope for better results.
