A little sneak peak of what’s heading to Market on Market this afternoon. I heard you and the Mushroom and Gouda Focaccia is back for those of you who missed it last week!
Don’t let a gray day stop you from shopping local and getting your fresh loaves.

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend and Happy Father’s Day to everyone who celebrated yesterday.
It’s the first official week of summer and the local produce is really starting to shine. I am thrilled about it and have so many goodies to include in our baked goods this week! I picked up some beautiful, deep red raspberries from tuckeysorchard and well as some fantastic garlic scapes. I also picked up some of the first tomatoes I’ve seen this season from Chicano Sol. So our scones this week will be Raspberry Lemon and our focaccia will be Garlic Scape Pesto with Roasted Tomatoes. I’m really looking forward to these flavor combinations! My own garden is bursting with fresh sage right now, so I thought it’s time to bring back a favorite loaf of mine-Sourdough Sage, Onion & Cheddar.
Breads will be available at Market on Market in Camp Hill on Tuesday from 3-7. Breads will be at People's Provisions on Wednesday ONLY this week (my daughter is having surgery so I’ll be needing all of Thursday and part of Friday to care for her.) Breads will be available at Helena's Chocolate Cafe & Creperie on Saturday morning. And, as always, you can order for Carlisle pickup or free Borough delivery on Saturday morning.

Sometimes I think the focaccia just looks so lovely before it goes in the oven. I love to see the bright green of the herbs and the boldness of the veggies and olive oil.

It’s Market on Market day and what a perfect day for a farmers market!
We’ve got such a yummy combination of sweet and savory baked goods coming to the market this afternoon. Pick up something to satisfy your sweet tooth, salty tooth or something for both!
I don’t usually get to this market in person, but I will be there today from 3 to 7 and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone this afternoon!

Happy Monday! We are back from a wonderful week at the beach and now I’m feeling rested and ready to get back to baking!
I got my hands on what are likely the last strawberries of the season, so we’ll have one more round of Strawberries and Cream Scones! This week also features a yummy Marinated Mushroom and Gouda Focaccia featuring the most delicious mushrooms from Deep Hollow Forest Farm. I’ve been wanting to make a focaccia featuring the beauty of local mushrooms for years so I’m really pleased with this. Our specialty loaf is back by special request…Sourdough Date and Pecan. I’m really happy to hear how many of you enjoyed this loaf!

Happy Saturday! I am in love with the scent of lavender coming off of these sweet little scones this morning. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Well…there’s a whole lot of a bag of oats that fell on the bakery floor. Earlier today I spilled a 3 lb bag of sugar. Clearly, next week’s vacation can’t come soon enough!
