Today marks the end of a 16-year chapter at Haney’s as Dan Haines has decided to move on and focus on growing his own business, Blacked Out Window Tint.
For the past 16 years, Dan has been my go-to guy. He’s worked alongside me helping customers, solving problems, tackling challenges, and playing a major role in the growth and success of our business year after year.
When you came into the store, you might have found Dan repairing equipment in the yard, troubleshooting IT issues, building displays, helping customers, or simply joking around with coworkers and customers. Whatever the task, Dan always gave it his best effort and did it well.
People like Dan are hard to find. In today's world, dedicated, dependable teammates who truly care about the success of the business are rare. It may take a couple of people to fill the role he’s played here at Haney’s—and even then, those are some big shoes to fill.
Dan, thank you for your hard work, your loyalty, and everything you’ve contributed over the years. More than being a great employee and teammate, you've become part of our family, and that relationship will continue long after your career at Haney’s has ended.
Over the years, we've worked through some challenging times together, but we've also shared countless great memories—from trade shows and road trips to the everyday conversations that come with working side by side for nearly two decades.
Most importantly, I want to wish you nothing but success as you continue to grow Blacked Out Window Tint. If anyone is looking to have their windows tinted, Dan is the person to call. His attention to detail, work ethic, and commitment to quality are second to none.
Thank you for 16 great years, Dan. I appreciate everything you've done and wish you the very best in this next chapter.
