this is the last three scarfs I have woven. Made with cotton warp and the wef is handspun wool and mohair with a little spum cashmere . I did the spinning of the yarns and all of the dyeing. Today I will be winding on a warp of lennin planning to make a couple of pictorial tapestries using my hand spun and dyed wools and mohair.

Now, maybe I can start weaving again. I had a cornea transplant about four weeks ago. Still kinda seeing double. I have been busy.
I have new business cards, I have designed cloth lables (to sew on my new weavings. I am spinning and dying my own fibers. The cost of wool and silk and other natural yarns is very expensive, and every thing is so comercial looking. Comerical yarn looks nice but it lacks the personality that handspun and dyed fibers have.
Now.......back to weaving..........I will be making tapestry for the next 4 or 5 months. This past summer I have been weaving scarves,shawls,rugs and throws. I have about 12 neckscarves
6 wool rugs 10 shawls and 5 throws. On Friday I will take 5 items from the list to a gallery. I will not be making more rugs,shawls,scarves, or throws for this season. If you want one of the items come early. Last season I ran out of scarves and shawls the very early part of November. If you are wanting something from me come and get it. I will be posting some things on this page along with important info about each piece such as fiber content, measurements, and price. I will post the soon.
