The Craft Shop SIUC has something for everyone. I'm putting this here so I can remember the hours. ;-) And, yes, we have a few shelves of CRAFT books. They're in the sun room, on the other side of NATURE books.

We are back! Summer hours are Monday - Friday noon to 4pm.

Despite the chance of sprinkles, we plan to be at the market tomorrow. Still raising money for The Little Resource Center (thank you for the enthusiastic response to this organization). Get your greens! And then a book or two. :-)

Tomorrow, Saturday May 16th is market day! At the market you can enjoy live music by Shaad while you shop and visit with our community group Confluence Books and Meridian of Illinois will be out handing out vouchers for their members as well as some to non-members. We hope you can come out and support our local farmers, makers, music, and community group from 8am till noon at 2015 West Main Street.

There will be produce, honey, micro greens, plant starts, mushrooms, dairy (milk and yogurt), meats (beef, bison, chicken, pork, turkey), Eggs (chicken & duck), coffee (to drink at market or bags of beans), baked goods (breads, cookies, donuts, pies, turnovers, etc.), freeze dried candies and fruits, syrups, pickled items, drinking vinegars and shrubs, native plants, potted plants and hanging baskets, trees, cut flowers and bouquets, house plants, hot sauces and hot honey, locally created spices, jewelry for all ages, soaps, lotions, artwork (decretive tiles, coasters, etc.), stained glass items, and more!
