💜Final Housekeeping Update💜
The fox + doe space is now fully closed.
Thank you to our community for the support, patience, and kindness shown throughout this closing process. We are truly grateful to everyone who shopped, consigned, shared kind words, and helped us navigate this unexpected transition.
As we complete the final steps of our business closure, please note the following important updates:
💗Operations & Communication
To keep closing costs to a minimum, we are phasing out operational expenses, including our website, utilities (phone), and related services. Going forward, we will no longer be monitoring social media and will eventually close our Instagram and Facebook profiles. We will be keeping our email ([email protected]) until all final matters are resolved, but may be slow to respond.
💗Consignor Payouts — Action Required
Due to the unexpected nature of our closure (our building was sold and the lease was not renewed), we are asking that all payout requests be submitted by February 15. Please use this form: https://forms.gle/cJQyBJnA2rdPdD1t8 (Link is also in our Instagram bio and in our Google Business Profile.) Payments are being processed as quickly as possible.
Our system and operations were designed for payouts to be requested in-shop and issued by check, and as a result, we may not have your mailing address or full contact information. We must hear from you directly in order to process your payment quickly.
Please also note:
• Balances older than six months are forfeited, as outlined in our consignment agreement.
• All remaining consignment and shop inventory has now been donated to our charitable partners.
We decided against sharing a final picture of the empty space as it was just too sad, but we want to thank everyone who purchased fixtures. Those sales helped significantly with closing costs and our final move-out. We had only one small load at the end that found a second (and even third or fourth!) life at the Swap Shop. Truly, unbelievable. Thank you SO much.
