Unfortunately, after careful evaluation by Slayton Pyro, the Amarillo Dragway management team, fire safety personnel, and the Fire Marshal, tonight’s fireworks show has been canceled due to excessive wind speeds.

This was not an easy decision, but safety will always be our top priority. We have a responsibility to protect our crew, spectators, property, and the surrounding community, and we believe this was the safest and most responsible choice.

We understand many of you were looking forward to tonight’s show, and we sincerely apologize for the disappointment. We are hopeful that another event can be scheduled in the future to make up for tonight’s cancellation.

Thank you for your understanding, support, and respect for this decision. We can’t wait to bring you some incredible fireworks shows in the future.
