Saturday November 2nd you have the opportunity to support all three Canyon ISD programs at the Area A 4A Marching Contest in Amarillo at Dick Bivins stadium!

This contest has been held in Abilene the last three years, so you have the chance to see the best 4A bands from Regions 1,6,16,22 locally this year at their peak! All three CISD bands have advanced to the state marching contest the last two seasons.

There are two rounds, prelims and finals.

In prelims:

- West Plains performs at 11:15am
- Canyon performs at 11:45am
- Randall performs at 2:30pm

Finals begins at 6:30pm and will be the top 7 bands from prelims, we won't know performance order until around 4pm. Top 3 bands will advance to the stage marching contest.

I recommend arriving 10-15 minutes before a performance time. Admission is usually around 5$.

I think it would be awesome to pack the stands for all three bands!
