Take a look at how we fill our lacquer paints. I posted on the process we use to get consistent paint mixes for every bottle. It may seem cumbersome but with over 1000 stocked colors. It makes the best use of our space and we do not have bottles of paint on a shelf that do not sell very fast.

Here are the racks set up for pre-bottled lacquer paints. Once filled they will help us get orders out a lot faster. When someone orders a color I will make enough to fill their order and then add 4-6 bottles to fill the rack. It now takes 2-3 minutes to fill one bottle and only 5-6 minutes to fill 9. Slow process starting off but will help in the long run. This is only done with colors from 1955 to 1972. Depending on manufacturer.

Here is an image of our enamel paints finally put up on the shelf in order. This is where we keep the stock to pull from when you place an order. The lacquer paints are done a bit differently since we have a lot more colors in that line.

Hello all. I would like to update everyone on our move from NC back to Ohio.

We are still unpacking and will be for a bit.

I am happy to say that we shipped our first orders today. We will be filling orders as fast as we can to catch up.

To thank all of our customers for their patience, we will be adding a small token of our appreciation to all orders received from 4-18-26 until 5-31-26

This is a reminder that as of today April 18th 2026 we will be shut down until after May 11th 2026 for our move from NC to OH. We will fill orders as fast as we can once we are set up in Ohio

We will also be getting things ready to start making all of our resin products again.

Good evening everyone. Just wanted to pass along an update. First and foremost we are not going out of business. Some people may have heard this but it not true.

We are closing our retail hobby shop, Wings Wheels and Waves, to the public on March 21st at 5pm.

We would like to invite all of our customers in on Saturday March 21st. We will have pizza so stop on in and have a slice and say goodbye. We are going to miss all of our customers here in NC.

MCW Finishes and Atlas Brush Company will be business as usual. We will be closed for about a week to do some more prep for our move from NC to Ohio.

I will be back in the shop filling orders from April 1st until sometime in mid April. I will shut things down for a couple of weeks for the final part of the move.

When we have finished the move to Ohio I will start filling orders again as well as turning back on all of our resin kits for sale on the website.

Any stock left over once we close the retail shop will be sold on our Wings Wheels and Waves website. If this goes well we will continue to add new products like kits, paints and tools.

We will not have a retail shop in Ohio. We will be online only.
