Nice simple table made to be literally posted up in the yard turned into something amazing.

This was just a simple round table a customer wanted to add some flare to. He stayed with me while I burn this table, so we could get it exactly like he wanted. Obviously the electricity has a bit of a mind of its own, but there is some control in the amount and shape of the burns if you have something particular in mind. As you can see from the scrap piece of wood, you can confine the burns to specific shapes within reason, and different woods can burn in different ways. Denser woods usually usually allow for more fanning and little details. Lower quality pine like this piece of plywood usually get straighter lines running along the grain, because it burns more quickly.
