✨ Long time, no see, sweet thrifters! ✨
Appalachia Thrift honestly had to come to a halt when this semester of grad school began. Between classes, my job, and life in general, I haven’t had the time needed to dedicate to running the shop. Since I don’t see anything slowing down anytime soon (can any grad students relate? 😅🤪), I just wanted to hop on here and talk about the new direction Appalachia Thrift is going. 🤍
Going forward, instead of regular, scheduled “drops”, Appalachia Thrift will be mostly commission based with random sales happening as I have or find things to sell. By commission-based, I mean if I find something while thrifting/antiquing that I love and want to restore or refurbish for fun, I’ll post the item, and anyone can message me with how they’d like the item to be done. Afterwards, we will work out a price and I’ll get started! (I’ve included a before-and-after example of a vintage mirror I restored for the cutie follower in the slideshow! 🌈)
Appalachia Thrift will also have random sales that I will try my best to notify you all of ahead of time. In fact…. I’m doing a closet clean out and would love to offer you guys first dibs!! I am still organizing what I’ll be selling, but be on the lookout for a sale announcement soon 🎉
Thank you all for your continued support even as things change a bit. 💛 If you made it this far, comment things I should be on the lookout for commission pieces 🧐
