At Man Cave Machine Ltd. we are a type 07 FFL manufacturer. We do custom firearm builds, machine work, welding and fabrication of all kinds. Owned by a Certified Gunsmith for custom builds and repairs of all fi****ms types. Serial numbers scratched into the grips on this 1892 H&R double action first model. This was a common practice when fi****ms were hand fitted when built. Most all fi****ms before WW2 were hand fitted, some companies continued to polish and fit some parts until the 1980's. When machining capabilities got better less fitting was required.
These days you'd have to order from a custom builder or something like the S&W Performance Center to get anything that some parts are still hand fitted.
