Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the strength, courage, and freedom that unite our communities.

At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Sierra, we are grateful for those who served and for the families who carry their legacy forward.

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

We’ve known Kay as one of our dedicated volunteers, now we want to welcome her as she joins the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Sierra board of directors. Thank you Kay for your commitment to our organization and the Littles that we support. 

Please join us in welcoming Kay Harse to the Big Brothers Big Sisters Northern Sierra Board of Directors!

Since retiring in 2018, Kay has been deeply involved with re:Visions (100% volunteer and donated home goods store) and has witnessed firsthand the transformative impact BBBSNS has on local youth and families. Through years of community involvement, she has seen the dedication of our staff, mentors, board members, and supporters, along with the incredible growth and confidence that mentoring brings to Littles throughout our region.

Kay looks forward to joining the board’s commitment to creating more opportunities for children in need of mentorship, and we are excited to have her as part of the BBBSNS family!
