On April 1, 14-year-old Braden Stepp of Camden sustained life-threatening injuries in an e-bike accident and remains in critical condition at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, where he is being treated for severe brain trauma.

In response, a benefit ride and fundraiser has been organized to support Brayden and his family.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 9 in Camden. Registration for the ride will begin at 8:30 a.m. at 1210 Highway 70 West. The bike show and fundraiser will follow at 1 p.m. in the parking lot of Tractor Supply Co..

Organizers say the event will include a community ride and activities aimed at raising funds to assist with medical expenses as Brayden continues his recovery.
