**Responsibilities: **
- Support the day-to-day operations of the thrift store, working closely with the board, volunteers, and staff to ensure smooth functioning.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment, both for our dedicated team and the diverse community we serve.
- Utilize your hands-on approach to be actively involved in various store activities, from organizing merchandise to assisting customers.
- Oversee inventory management, pricing, and visual merchandising to create an appealing shopping experience for our patrons.
- Play a pivotal role in driving sales and achieving financial goals, with the ultimate aim of supporting education within the medical fields.
**Qualifications:**
- A strong sense of community and a genuine desire to contribute to the betterment of others.
- Physical stamina and ability to be on your feet for extended periods, as well as lift and move items weighing over 50lbs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse team of volunteers, staff, and community members.
- Prior retail or thrift store experience is a plus, showcasing your ability to manage operations and engage customers.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain an orderly and attractive store layout.
- Flexibility in work hours, including weekends, to accommodate the store's operating schedule. (Saturdays required)
