It’s so hard to believe — our son just turned 17! Nearly 7 years ago he moved in with us when he was 10, and nearly 6 years ago, his adoption was finalized. 7 birthdays together. 💞 He has been such a blessing in all of our lives. When we were struggling to have children, I always said “someday this will all make sense.” Yesterday, as Mathias sat opening his birthday gifts, with his little brother sitting right next to him, looking on with great interest, I was reminded of our journey and how wonderful it is to see Mathias growing into such a wonderful young man. Can’t imagine life without him. I was right way back when… it all makes sense now.

Every year our house looks so bare after we take down the Christmas decorations, so I did an immediate swap this year… Christmas to Valentine’s Day. Now we have hearts everywhere! It makes me so happy! No January gloom here!!

It has been a long time since I’ve posted. COVID, life, kids/family time, 3 moves in 2.5 years — no shortage of things to keep us busy. While I might not have been posting, my passion for the practice of gratitude hasn’t waned. As we roll into 2024, it feels like time to re-engage and find inspiring new ways to spread joy and positive vibes. I can’t wait to see what this year has in store, and I look forward to seeing you more often!

It has been forever since my last post. Family life has taken over in the best ways, but I miss nurturing CGO, my passion project. I miss all of you - my fellow gratitude gurus and joy spreaders. It dawned on me today, it’s the best possible time to get back at it to shine a spotlight on gratitude. Here are some delightful lilacs that I cut today - our whole kitchen smells so yummy! Posting this pic as a virtual thank you bouquet for all of the healthcare workers who are fighting the good fight to save lives, at the risk of their own health. This selfless act deserves our deepest gratitude. 💖💖💖

It has been awhile since I’ve posted, but I can’t let the Thanksgiving weekend pass without a hello and an expression of gratitude. These past 3 years have brought so many blessings into my life, and I’m so grateful! Thank you to all of our customers and cheerleaders. Your messages, comments, and emails always bring a smile to my face. Happy Thanksgiving (a day late) from our family to yours! Keep spreading the joy and gratitude!!
