I'm a mother of two beautiful children and a wife to an awesome husband who is an Air Force Veteran. My sewing journey began when we had the stay at home order because of Covid-19 in March 2020, while being advised to wear face masks whenever we were in public. Most of the

masks were boring and never fit right, so I wanted to make my own. My dear husband has actually purchased a Singer sewing machine back in 1997 and had only used it a couple of times, and ever since then it's been sitting in the garage or storage areas (we moved a lot because he was in the military). I decided to take a look at the sewing machine and thought if it didn't look too intimidating, then I might actually try to sew something :)
I had no experience and zero clue on how to use a sewing machine. It took me a couple of days to finish just one facemask, as I kept on replaying the video tutorials numerous times, don't ask me how many times because I lost count! After feeling comfortable with face masks, I started to sew new things, and the more I sewed, the more I fell in love with sewing. All of this helped me to continuously improve my sewing skills, as I created more projects like; sewing mat, roll up tool bag, scrunchies, pouches, glasses holders, bookmarks, etc. I decided to give some of my creations as gifts while receiving feedback from them letting me know how much they enjoyed what I made while suggesting that I open my own shop. Et voila, I created this page.
