We are proud to be part of the “First Saturday Art Walk Calistoga” starting this Saturday, Aug 5th! An ongoing event series to highlight local and regional artists of all kinds! The art walk will continue until December on the first Saturday of each month, in downtown Calistoga 3-6 pm.

At EV Floral Design, we will feature local artists each weekend, and our art… FLOWERS! Limited exclusive arraignments will be available in-store only!

This week we have local artist Dinah Cross James from St Helena. James is considered to have a "good sense of expressing the subconscious.” (photos in slides. ⬆️)

We've been settled into our new location for a little while now, but as they say, life happens!

At EV Floral, we believe in the beauty of local blooms and in supporting our community! That's why we source flowers directly from local farms in Napa Valley.

Today we wanted to introduce you to Meadowood Farms in St Helena, just 8 miles away from our shop. Pictured, you can see plants that are little known but absolutely beautiful in arrangements, giving them depth and fullness. They are the Saltbush and Chinese Forget-Me-Not!

Saltbush is edible (according to some websites) and has a lovely greenish-gray hue that adds a beautiful canvas for those more showy flowers, like these Zinnias and Cosmos.

Chinese Forget-Me-Nots are not related to our native forget-me-nots here in Northern California, but they got their name because the blooms look very similar.
