These are just some different ukulele's we've done recently. Banjo ukes, tennor ukes and concert ukes. I'll add audio soon. (Also, I need to get a different camera. This one gives everything a slightly fish-eye lens look. I swear they aren't oblong.)

New G scale, it's brother C-scale should be done in a day or too. Then to finish the lovely Laure's Uke before the new year turns the dated inscription into a lie!

We're starting a couple of new custom projects this week. 1) A circular guitar with F-holes and a standard pin bridge made of walnut, (pictures to follow soon) and 2) a new ukulele made of a wood we've never used before called "myrtle." Evidently its an evergreen from Oregon. Neat grains and color! We're also working on new banjos and guit-jos, but it's always fun to post the side projects.

Finished a new guitjo with a slightly different take. Instead of our usual neck, this one was special ordered with a classical guitar width (1 7/8ths. at the nut.) I think I really like it that way, it's very nice for finger picking! This was a very pretty batch of mahogany this time around. We have a c-scale nearing completion that's from the same slab of wood and just as pretty. So tomorrow we ship the guitjo to it's new home, then back on to building more g and c-scales.

We've been busy working on standard stock (i.e. banjos, ukes and guitjos) but we've still managed to find time for little side projects. Here 's some pictures of a mandolin Dad is building.

Another guitjo finished. We used Maple for the ring for a change from the Mahogany, and the tone is quite bright! Two more banjos and another guitjo are in the works right now as well as a tenor uke (which will find a home in France) and a mandolin of unusual shape.
