Randy was a fun shopper! Always love talking to him. I even took him across the street to the Calico Rock Museum and Visitors Center gift shop where TwoDogs Doyle local Creek has beautiful work for sale. Randy was thinking about the wooden Indian carving but decided he wanted a piece he could wear. Happy Birthday Randy.

barn burned 12/9 and 12/10 reingnited in high winds threatening forest, fields, trees, and neighbors requiring fire department and neighbors with tractors to provide assistance again….

This is becoming a much bigger issue as the insurance company insured her barn, shop and shed as outbuildings and not for the actual use. Therefore they are now saying because she used the barn as a barn….. with animals it’s not covered. It may be necessary to hire an atty. If anyone knows a good farm insurance atty message us or share.

In the meantime the weather is suppose to drop to 22 within 72 hrs and stay cold. She’s gotten a shed 10x20 coming Friday that will provide shelter for the bucks. The girls are staying in the shop building carport area that has her last remaining hay in it. Both eating and messing in it will inhibit its use as food likely by the time John Henderson can get the add on to the shop as a barn like shelter for the girls.

Hay, grain, water troughs, everything needed in the care of small animals … all of her building supplies for an addition to her house, siding, lumber, insulation, plywood…. Plus tires, large fans used in barn and shop, tools, hoses, milk stand…. Paperwork, storage cabinet, vitamins, medicines, bottles, jars, buckets, …

Everything is gone.

Holiday heads up! The General Store on Main Street Calico Rock will be closed Thanksgiving Day, but will be Open on Black Friday 10-4 and we will stay open as long as customers are coming.

We will be Closed Christmas Day reopening Jan 5th!!!

The Calico Rock Museum and Visitors Center will be closed those same dates from Christmas reopening Monday Jan 5. They will be closed Black Friday.
