I have not made a lot of memory items since 2018. I stopped bc of health issues. I recently made 2 bears for a customer I had made bears for a few years ago and it has spurred my interest again. I love the ministry of my items-the memories they trigger just by seeing certain fabrics and remembering a loved one wearing the clothing. I started making these bears after the death by of my father and I made the first bears from his shirts. As time passed my bears morphed into what they are today-better made, more one of a kind, and more options. Each bear is individualized. I try to make each one special for the receiver. For example: I found a nickel in the pocket of a little mans jacket that someone had brought me-I could see that little man turning that nickel over and over in his pocket. So when I made the bear I made a pocket and attached to the bear and put the nickel in it. A very special memento of a loved one. I have made MANY, MANY BEARS! And each one has a story to tell. I would love to hear from past customers in comments and if you comment please include a pic of your bear if possible. I remember many of you but I have made a LOT of bears!

Anyone interested in having a bear made please contact me. I am taking limited orders bc of caring for my elderly mother and keeping grandkids-limited time to sew. And the mask requirements have kicked up again and I’m making more masks. Since covid began I have made around 1300 masks and given them away.

Due to my recent health issues I will not be taking orders for memory items for a while. If I have already taken an order from you I will be fulfilling the orders as soon as my health allows. I am working on them but my recovery is slow.
