“Building a business from the ground up is not for the faint of heart. It asks for long days, endless dedication, and so much of your heart and time. But for me, these stores have never felt like “work.” They are truly my passion — a place I look forward to walking into every single day. Through every season, challenge, and celebration, this journey has been one filled with purpose, gratitude, and love.
One of the sweetest parts of this adventure has been watching it become a family affair. Hiring my granddaughter to work alongside me has been such a special gift. She works on Saturdays and continually amazes me with her creativity and talent. From making beautiful bows to wrapping gifts with such care, she’s a natural. Seeing her shine in the store brings me more joy than words can express.
I could never have done any of this alone. My support system has been the backbone of my success. My co-workers are always showing up when I need them, whether it’s helping with the little things like changing a lightbulb or tackling bigger tasks like installing a new printer. And I have been incredibly blessed with people who care for these stores as if they were their own. Their loyalty, hard work, and love mean everything to me.
And finally, to our wonderful community — thank you. Your support, kindness, and encouragement have carried us through the years. Small businesses survive because of people like you, and I will never stop being grateful for every person who walks through our doors.”
