First off, let me preface this by saying: The quilt police are MADE UP and they can't tell you what to do!

But, if they WERE real, what quilting crime would they arrest you for?

I'll admit, they'd book me for failure to change my rotary blade NEAR often enough. (I think I change it once per year, if that? 🙈)

I mentioned this a couple weeks ago on live, but wanted to post it officially. Unfortunately, the rising costs of just about everything (including labor) are driving this change after more than 3 years (I charged the same amount as when I worked from my home).

All quilts scheduled on or after September 1, 2026 will have the new pricing applied. We still have just a couple last longarming appointments available in August but they're going quick, so snag them if you need before the price updates.

The Stash Buster Collective is this Thursday!

Come sit and sew with us from 10am - 4pm for only $5 a session, and use the fabric you already have. Each month we'll focus on a new scrappy block with pattern provided, but you can choose to work on anything you want. Pattern for that month's 'block' is included in the session fee, and all attendees also receive 15% off their purchase in the store during that day!

This month's block is called 'Scrappy Wells' and I've attached two color options (although the options are really limitless). Hope to see you there!

Anyone else dealing with horrible allergies this spring?! I am, but I'm still working my way through all these quilts that need quilting. We're currently booking early August for quilting. As a reminder, currently we are NOT offering last minute longarming- that service will resume in September after our Wisconsin show.

On a related note: if you come in the store in the near future, and I've got two tissues shoved up my nose, mind your own business. Nature and I are having an argument. 😂
