Main Street Caldwell The Caldwell Main Street Program strives to uphold the downtown area’s historic identity, improve the main street experience and promote economic growth.

Having been designated a Main Street City by the Texas Historical Commission in January 2014, Caldwell has implemented a revitalization program that strives to uphold the downtown area’s historic identity, improve the main street experience and promote economic growth. Caldwell has a Texas Main Street resource team that offers free access to expertise in numerous areas of historic preservation including: design, community planning, economic development, and administration.

Visit downtown this week to celebrate Burleson County Heritage Week, hosted by the Burleson County Historical Commission! The theme this year is "Celebrating the Museums of Burleson County" there will be educational displays up in the County Courthouse the six museums in Burleson County, including the Courthouse Museum, the Caldwell Historical Museum, the Czech Museum, and the Kraitchar House Museum, all located in downtown Caldwell. The Somerville Museum and the soon to be open Deanville Depot Museum are also participating!
