Congratulations on your win! a youth shooter.
Posted • Here we go! Kicked off the new season Saturday at MKM Precision with my first PRS Northeast Regional match, the Penn-Ohio Precision Rifle Club - POPRC season opener (on ICE ❄️). Great match as always from Matt Stiner. It definitely felt good to get back behind my rifle on the clock after two months off. It was awesome to see plenty of new shooters come out to join us.
The weather was what you would expected for February in Pennsylvania, 🥶COLD🥶, complicated by lots of ice on the ground, but that didn’t stop us from having FUN (even if we couldn’t feel our toes after standing on a glacier all day). I guess we are just built different here in the northeast, lol. Although I definitely rather be shooting in perfect weather conditions, I love the challenge and feel like taking the opportunity to shoot in difficult conditions has toughened me up bit both mentally and physically, and it definitely has help make me a better competitor.
Anyway, whether it’s rain, snow, or sunshine, I am just excited that the season is back in fulll swing again and am really GRATEFUL that I was able to start it off with a WIN! Congrats to Ryan Beck on 2nd and Keith Baker on 3rd. Looking forward to seeing you all on the range this year!
Next up: Frontline Fury ! Can’t wait!
