Fresh cups right off the cupping line. Heading into one of the 9mm case presses. This is where the cups are drawn out into cases. The head stamp, flash hole and primer pocket is all done on this machine.

Behind the scenes of precision manufacturing: Watch as we seal 5.56x45 55 Grain FMJ M193 rounds to meet strict NATO/Milspec requirements. Not only are the primers staked on the primer machine, but advanced cameras ensure the sealer is properly applied to both the case mouth and primer.

This sealer combines anaerobic and UV-activated curing—starting the sealing process immediately and fully curing under UV light at the speed of the moving belt.

From cup to case, and beyond! 💥 Here’s how cases are made in-house at Federated Ordnance: Our transfer press shapes two cases per stroke, starting with cups made right here on our cupping line. These cups go through multiple stages to be drawn into cases, then it’s off to the wash to remove l**e, linear annealing, and an acid wash. Next, the cases are trimmed to final length, and the extraction groove is precision-cut. After another wash and polish, they pass through an automated QC line to ensure perfection.

It’s a meticulous process, but that’s how we do it—from strip to cup, cup to case, lead ingot to core, and all the way to finished cartridges. Quality. Precision. Made here. 🔥

Fresh 5.56x45 cases rolling off the case line! After coming off the trimmers, they’re ready for the next steps. First, they head up the conveyor for a wash and polish cycle, then on to the inspection machine. From there, it’s final neck annealing and a careful human inspection to catch any blemishes—only the best make it through. These cases are prepped for perfection, whether they’re destined for sale or heading straight to the load line for priming and loading. Quality starts here! 💪
