Nationwide Medical, Inc.

Nationwide Medical, Inc. In October of 2002, we began contacting “orphaned” CPAP patients. The response? Overwhelmingly positive! Thus, the resupply program was born.

From our family business roots to becoming a leading respiratory care specialist, we’ve remained committed to one simple principle: putting patients first through personalized, expert care. These patients were not instructed how to care for their supplies, how to use their machines, and were not even told why it was important to treat sleep apnea with a CPAP machine. Resupply patients were thrille

d to discover that their insurance covered part or all of their replacement supplies, that they could rely on sleep experts like us for questions or concerns, and that they had a company who genuinely supported them on every level. For almost two decades, we have proudly serviced more than 100,000 patients from all walks of life. Join our program for CPAP, Bi-level, Oxygen, or NIV Therapy today!

This week Tom Ryan, Jay Witter, Josh Marx, David Siegel, and Cara Bachenheimer had a productive meeting with CMS Administrator Dr. Oz and CMS Deputy Administrator Kim Brandt to discuss critical issues impacting patients and providers. Conversations included exploring adjustments to the Competitive Bidding Program that could enhance competitiveness and create a more balanced marketplace, asking CMS to provide clarification around the moratorium so that responsible suppliers can continue growth and expansion to meet patient needs, and partnering on fraud and prevention by offering to collaborate with the administration on enhanced tools and strategies to identify and discourage fraudulent behavior.

Dr. Oz was engaging and welcomed input from the industry. AAHomecare and stakeholders shared real world implications, data, and stories from the industry contributing to a positive meeting overall.

Advocacy continues, and we remain committed to working with policymakers, partners, and stakeholders to advance solutions that put patients first.
