This job is NOT at the New to You store but is a position for an in home care aid taking care of a disabled middle aged woman in her home in Byron.

Hours: M-F 12pm to 5pm (occasionally morning or all day)

Duties include:

Must pass background check (Criminal and DFS)

In Home Personal Care Aid....duties include Cooking, Household Chores, Laundry, Transportation, Personal Care...Pay is $10-$11 hour...Paid Twice a Month...25-30 hrs per week...Monday-Friday Afternoons...Must have a dependable vehicle, valid driver's license and insurance...Pre employment background check and drug tests...Must be dependable and a self motivator...Must have or be willing to get CPR and First Aid Certified.

This is not a sit on your butt watch TV and play on your phone job. There are daily chores and personal care that need to be done.

Generally there will be one trip to Billings a month and weekly trips to Powell.

Being a CNA is a plus but not required there is personal care so you can't be shy or afraid to touch someone.

You will be doing dishes, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning the bathroom, laundry, changing sheets, and other household chores. Basically you would be doing what I would be doing if I was able to do it. If it's dirty clean it if it's on the floor pick it up.

I do smoke and have a cat so you can't be allergic. You will NOT be required to take care of my pets...no feeding no litter box cleaning.

You must know how to cook and will be preparing meals and baking.

Your vehicle must be big enough to be able to put a walker or wheelchair in it and you can not be afraid to drive in the snow this is Wyoming and we do have snow and there will be places to go. Your vehicle must also have a working cigarette lighter that I can plug my portable oxygen machine (inogen) in to and have working a/c and heat.

Job would be starting June 22nd.

So got some bad news I have 30 days to vacate the building my store is in because it was sold and new owner does not want anyone as renters 😢
Mostly sucks because we are in the middle of a national crisis and I cant do a going out of business sale or even hire people to come help with packing up. Because of my health I do not have the energy to even look for or set up in a new location so I am just going to go out of business 😢.
So if you had your eye on anything now is the time to speak up before it all goes away. Pretty much open to reasonable offers on EVERYTHING. Pick up will be done one person at a time to enable social distancing. Pickups will need to be done in the evenings or on the weekend because Eddie will be meeting everyone as I can not afford to expose myself to anything due to my medical conditions and low immune system. Give me a shout if you want something.
Lots of tupperware and household items...tons of boys clothes sizes 3T-12...some infant clothes of all sizes and a few girls and womens clothes...vintage and collectible items...exercise equipment...toys and games...Christmas items...electronics...odds and ends...dishes etc....also selling shelving units and clothing racks

I am sad to announce that New to You will be closed from November 20th until mid-February as I was diagnosed with cancer and will be receiving treatments.
Unfortunately that also means we will not be doing our annual Christmas Tree giveaways or assisting with gifts for those in need. I also will not be able to give away children's winter coats and boots this year.
I hope everyone enjoys their Holidays and we will see you when I get back.
