Here is a 24' Tolman Jumbo built from one of our kits and recently launched in Rockland, Maine. The builder is moving up from a Farrier F27 trimaran to a boat that will take in anywhere, anytime, notwithstanding the day's marine forecast. Planning to cruise on this boat, the builder lengthened the cabin and pilothouse to accommodate comfortable eating, cooking and sleeping. The advantage to building your own Tolman is the flexibility to design interior spaces to your needs without having to plan around critical bulkheads or framing. Tolman Skiffs are not just Saturday afternoon boats.

There is a 24' Tolman Skiff kit in the crate headed for the freight terminal in the morning for shipment to her new owner/builder near Traverse City, Michigan. The first few seasons the boat will be used on the Great Lakes, then a trip up the Inside Passage to Alaska is planned.

Just finishing up this Tolman Skiff 22' Widebody center console. The owner is using his 60hp Etec for power. Pretty straightforward otherwise: Garmin Echomap GPS, nav and courtesy lights, and USB charging station. Self-bailing, sealed deck, Petit Easypoxy paint. The boatyard will be installing the motor, throttle and hydraulic steering systems.
