Every baker should have an amazing cookie base, and mine is full of flavor and depth. Brown butter for umami, good vanilla extract for richness, and a combination of bread flour and all-purpose flour for balanced chew with slightly crisp edges make this the perfect (for me) recipe. Give it a try! And get a food scale FFS!!
