A BIG day and an exciting day too! Meet the new owner of my salad dressings. Paul Baker and family of Bakers Candy Co. Of Greenwood, NE are excited to add Country Sweet Onion and Ranch Sweet onion dressings to their product line. Thank you to all who have supported these products over the last seven years. Country Sweet Onion dressing Is Awesome on Caprese salad. Today is National corn on the cob grilling day. Brush melted butter mixed with Country Sweet Onion dressing on corn on the cob and Grill. Just before serving brush on a little more sauce and salt and pepper. Yummy

Thanks for visiting the Country Sweet Onion page! I will be demoeing my dressings made into yummy recipes on Friday at Albion Thriftyway Beer and Wine tasting from 4 to 8. New to this page will be a recipe of the week using the dressings. With the holidays around the corner we are always in need to try somthing new.
This weeks recipe is Sweet Onion Hummus
1 can garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
2 to 3 cloves garlic, according to your taste
3 T olive oil
3 T Country Sweet Onion Dressing
1 t salt
6 shakes Tobasco sauce
1 t ground cumin
2 T lemon juice
Mix all ingredients in food processor until smooth and creamy. Serve with toasted baguette bread, pita chips, fresh vegetables, tortilla chips or whatever you wish.

Use Country Sweet onion on Broccoli Salad. 1 head of broc. chopped. 1/4 cup craisins, 1/4 c diced red onion, sunflower nuts as desired, 1 cup Country Sweet Onion. Toss all together and chill.

Corn Salad- 2 cans corn drained, 1 chopped roma tomato, 1/2 chopped green pepper, 1/4 c diced red onion and 3/4 c Country Sweet Onion. I like to add 1 can black beans, rinsed. Chill.

It's a great time to grill useing Country Sweet Onion dressing as a glaze. Try brushing it on meat such as chicken, fish, pork or beef while the meat is cooking. Love it on tilapia or salmon. Try cooking vegetables such as tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, and onions in a foil packet . Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper and add small amount of sweet onion dressing. Pinch foil together tightly and place on grill, cook until vegetables are tender. Try beef and veggie kabobs on the grill tonight for supper, glaze with Country Sweet onion dressing while cooking. Bon apetite!

Hello everyone! New recipe for Super Bowl party made with Country Sweet Onion.
8 oz. cream cheese softened, 1/4 cup mayo or salad dressing, 1 cup country sweet onion dressing, 1/2 cup bacon bits( 1/4 c. in dip & 1/4 c. for topping)1 t. red pepper flakes or tabasco sauce, 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese (1/4 c. in dip & 1/4 c. for topping). Mix ingredients together, add toppings and microwave for two minutes. Can be served hot or cold. Serve with crackers or sliced baguettes. Enjoy!
