Butternut Maple Farm swept a maple confections category at the Geauga County Maple Festival Awards this morning… 1st Place RPM Spice, 2nd Place Maple Candied Almonds, 3rd Place Maple Candied Pecans, and 4th Place Gran-o-ple, our brand new maple granola!!! First time entering these BMF products!

PLUS, BMF Maple Sugar came in 2nd Place and BMF Maple Cream came in 3rd Place in their categories with the largest number of entries ever!

All of these maple products are currently in stock! Come and shop!

We are so excited to open our doors for the second weekend of the Ohio Maple Tour on Saturday and Sunday, March 14-15.

From 10am-Noon, join us for our all-you-can-eat buttermilk pancake breakfast with PLENTY of first and second floor seating. Stick around for our BBQ lunch specials which we will be serving up from 1-4 pm.

Throughout each day, jump into a tour and explanation of our operation, sample our delicious award winning organic Golden, Amber, and Robust maple syrup as well as our new and always popular maple confections. And - of course - shop in our showroom! All of this is in our heated 2000 square foot ADA accessible sugarhouse with an indoor public restroom.

The first weekend of the 2026 Ohio Maple Tour is in the books! We are so unbelievably grateful to all our friends and family who came out to volunteer. They were indispensable! We are so fortunate to have all of them in our lives!

We are also incredibly thankful to all our friends, family, neighbors, and customers - new and old - for supporting Butternut Maple Farm. We hope you found our pancakes, BBQ pork sandwiches, and hotdogs yummy!

Thank you for those who purchased our maple syrup and maple confections! Pierre and Matt enjoyed giving tours and providing explanations of our growing operation. And we all loved being able to see familiar faces and meet new people.

We’ll be back at it next weekend… Saturday and Sunday, March 14 & 15 from 10am-5pm. We look forwarding to hosting many more people in our heated ADA accessible 2000 square foot sugarhouse!
