Windy City Flutes is a pro flute shop located just outside of Chicago. We carry high end models to cater to the advancing high school and college students, as well as professional flautists. We carry an array of flutes from Altus, Haynes, Miyazawa, Trevor James, and Yamaha. Managed by Quinlan & Fabish's Jenn Clark, we are here to help you find your new flute. ark began her career at Quinlan and Fabish Music Company in 2006. In the years following she has helped facilitate the move to the new Burr Ridge location, start up the store's private lesson program, and is the manager for the retail store. She is excited and proud to be managing the new Windy City Flutes, bringing high end flutes to the Chicago land area. With two degrees in flute performance, Jenn holds a Bachelors from Illinois Wesleyan University, and a Masters from New York University. Her teachers include Laurel Tempas, William West, Susan Levitin, Keith Underwood, Suzanne Gilchrest, and Robert Dick. She has been a member of the Wheaton Municipal Band, teaches private lessons, and enjoys playing in local community theaters. Jenn belongs to the National Flute Association, and represents Windy City Flutes as a member of the Chicago Flute Club. Combining her musical training and experience at Q&F, Jenn has much to offer at Windy City Flutes. She is ready to work with students to help them find their new flute and pursue their musical career.

Sankyo Artist, Greg Pattillo is back in action with our friends at Windy City Flutes. 🌟

Join us on Saturday, April 11 for an engaging workshop and performance with Greg, followed by a hands-on opportunity to explore a curated selection of flutes.

Greg has "taught masterclasses on Beatbox Flute and Improvisation at numerous higher education institutions including the Juilliard School, Yale University, Curtis School of Music, Cleveland Institute of Music, Columbia University, University of Michigan, Rice University, NYU, Oberlin, Berklee College of Music, the Guildhall School of Music, and many more. As a member of the Project Trio, Greg has outreached to over 700,000 students with concerts and assemblies all over the world. He has also published 2 books on beatbox flute: “Beatbox FluteMethod Book, Vol. 1” 2019, and “Four Etudes for Beatbox Flute” 2013, and received 2 commissions for compositions: “Squad Up” (Flute Choir) 2017 and “Three Beats for Beatbox Flute” (Solo) 2011."

Looking for students to sign up for solo contest preparation, and we will have some amazing flute inventory for players of any age if you’re looking to upgrade!
