Yes, we need new pipes. Yes, our infrastructure is crumbling. (Bernie voice: "The infrastructure is crumbling!") And also? This is prime money-making season for small businesses, and the construction is hitting us hard.

What began as a dream has quickly become a beloved gathering place for readers, writers, and book lovers throughout our community. Over the past year, Plott Hound Books has created a welcoming space where stories are shared, friendships are formed, and a love of reading continues to grow. We'll visit with Mary Margaret and Sarah about their first year in business, the support they've received from the community, and their vision for the future.

We'll also discuss their special Middle Grade Author Event featuring North Carolina author Shannon Hitchcock. Following the radio show, families are invited to the bookstore for a book reading, author signing, and fun activities for young readers.
