For the guys. While I am deployed here in the land of Sand, also known as the middle east, I began a new book. "City of Death" is a true story of a Navy Seal turned Humanitarian who was pulled into the battle for Mosul, Iraq. This book is full of adventure and heroism and is a must read for those of you who are into war history. -Justin

Mahamed Ahmed, who had also exited his humvee to help with the wounded, immediately ran to help Shaheen. Before he could reach him, Mahamed Ahmed was shot in the neck. He dropped to the ground under the force of the bullet, but he didn't stay down. He got back up and continued moving, and after a few steps, Mahamed Ahmed was thrown to the ground again as another bullet tore through his arm and spun him around. Again, he got back up and kept moving. He was shot a third, fourth, fifth time as he dragged Shaheen to the working Humvee and pushed him inside. Mahamed Ahmed was shot once more as he climbed into the driver seat and closed the door. With his left hand he tried to stop the bleeding in his neck. With his right arm, he drove the humvee to safety at the top of the hill. When he reached the other Humvees at the top of the hill, Mahamed Ahmed opened the door and collapsed onto the Mosul Dust..."
