Well Dressed Greens, LLC Well Dressed Greens was founded in 2009 in Burlington, Vermont by Jessie Kaplan and is a small all-natural and organic vinaigrette company.

The inspiration:
Jessie's grandmother, Helyett, was born and raised in France, where she grew up making vinaigrette from scratch every night. She passed this recipe to her daughter, Nathalie, who created her own variation using a combination of red wine and balsamic vinegars. Nathalie's Vinaigrette became the centerpiece of their dinner table at home. At the request of friends and relatives, Nath

alie was always asked to bring a salad with "that amazing vinaigrette!" Nathalie's daughter Jessie was inspired by the positive feedback of our family members and friends, and thought, "Let's bring this product to market!" Jessie created her own variety, and now as a grandmother, mother, daughter team, the three women make their vinaigrettes in small batches fresh every week!

Dear Friends of Well Dressed Greens,

Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm for our family’s vinaigrettes!

After seven fabulous and fulfilling years, we have decided to stop our commercial production of Well Dressed Greens this summer. We will continue to supply fresh batches of our vinaigrettes to City Market, Healthy Living, Shelburne Meat Market, Intervale Food Hub, Shelburne Super Market, Natural Provisions, Pete’s Greens (Waterbury), and Commodities Market (Stowe) through the end of July, 2016.

We have appreciated the opportunity to have become part of such a vibrant, supportive, and inspiring group of Vermont farmers, food producers, and purveyors over the years and we will always treasure these relationships.

Thank you so very much to all of our loyal customers for your support over the years!
