🎆 FIREWORKS SEASON REMINDER 🎆

The Burlington Police Department would like to remind everyone of the city’s fireworks regulations as we approach the 4th of July holiday.

📅 Dates & Times Allowed
Fireworks may be discharged within city limits from July 1st through July 5th during the following hours:
🕒 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM

🚫 What’s NOT allowed
• Fireworks outside of the approved dates and hours
• Fireworks being thrown or propelled in the direction of or into the path of any animal, person, group of persons, or from, in the direction of or into any vehicle of any kind.
• Bottle rockets and other illegal fireworks as defined by Kansas state law

✅ Please Be Considerate
• Clean up all debris
• Supervise children at all times
• Be mindful of neighbors, pets, and veterans who may be sensitive to loud noises

🎇 Let’s celebrate safely and responsibly! Violations may result in fines or confiscation of fireworks.
