Our Kiva Campaign is now live!
For those of you who haven’t heard the news, we’re trying to get our hands on a Wintersteiger Safetronic Ski Binding testing machine ahead of winter.
We’ll let our powerpoint presentation do the heavy lifting here, but here’s what you should know:
• We’re working with and .org in an effort to crowdfund for a $9,000 loan.
• You can donate as little as $25 to the cause, and since this is a loan, you’ll get your money back once our loan is repaid.
• The first phase of the campaign is CRUCIAL. In order to make this happen, we need 30 backers in the first 15 days. If we can hit that, we’ll most likely reach our funding goal.
Most importantly though:
If we pull this off, we’re looking to bring 3 day binding mounts to Burlington. If you’ve ever tried to have your skis mounted in town between November and January, then you already know how game changing this would be.
PLUS - We’re looking forward to being the area’s only shop to offer Bind Freedom installations which allow you to move bindings across different pairs of skis. We’ve been running the system for the past two seasons and the biggest takeaway is that it allows you to expand your quiver without having to buy extra bindings.
In other words: More Skis, Less Bindings, Same Budget.
If you’re someone who wants to see better ski binding services in Burlington, or even if you just want to show us some support, we’d love it if you lent us $25 to make it happen.
