Last night was so much more than relighting a sign.

It was a reminder of what Preston’s has always been: a place where memories are made, traditions are passed down, and generations come together.

Seeing so many of you show up filled our hearts in a way that’s hard to put into words. Every conversation today reminded us why preserving Preston’s matters.

To everyone who made this possible this moment belongs to YOU. The lights are shining again because this community believed they should.

As those lights came back on, it felt like more than a sign lighting up. It felt like a piece of Burlingame’s heart coming back home.

Here’s to honoring the past, making new memories, and keeping Preston’s glowing for generations to come. 🌟

Last week, we officially completed the final repairs, and after more than a decade in the dark, the Broadway lights are finally ready to shine again!!!!

It’s hard to put into words what this moment means. These lights have been part of so many memories, and seeing them come back to life is something we never could have done without this incredible community.

To everyone who donated, shared our fundraiser, stopped by the shop, or simply cheered us on, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your kindness and generosity made this possible, and because of you, these lights will continue to brighten Broadway for generations to come. 🤍

Now we’d love to celebrate with all of you!

Join us on Thursday, July 23 for an evening of community, memories, and a little bit of magic.

🍦 Free ice cream from 6:00–8:00 PM
💡 At 8:00 PM sharp, we’ll gather together and turn the lights back on.

This week has meant so much to us. Seeing so many of you show up the way you have, through your generosity, your kind words, even just stopping by, is something we’ll carry very close to our hearts ❤️

For 80 years, Preston’s has been part of this community, and this past week showed us how deeply it still lives in people’s hearts. There’s something truly special about that.

Because of your generosity, we’ve already reached 22% of our goal in just one week!! Every donation has truly moved us, and it’s been incredible to see the love people have for this sweet place.

We can’t thank you all enough 🥹❤️

Each contribution is helping restore our iconic sign, a piece of our story, our history, Broadway, and for many of you, a piece of home.

Our community has been showing up for us over the past few months 🤍

So many of you have supported our fundraiser to help restore our iconic neon marquee. Unfortunately, due to a system issue, those contributions were refunded.

It’s hard to share this, because we know those donations came from a place of care, nostalgia, and love for Preston’s.

That sign is more than just a light, it’s part of our story, our history, and Broadway itself.

We’ve reopened the fundraiser, and if you’re still able to give, we would be so grateful for your support once again.

Every contribution brings us one step closer to lighting it back up.
