Simple Sunday Project

I've accumulated a few things along the way. As I cleaned out storage this week, I found a Redesign rub on furniture transfer ($30) and a mustard colored basket weave ceramic lamp (missing shade) I purchased a few years ago for under $10 from

So what did I do with these random pieces parts? I wasn't ready to part with them so I went on a thrifting mission and found a lampshade.

And then Voila 🪄

I rubbed the "Albery" Redesign transfer onto my newly found nifty thrifty lampshade and the rest is simplicity. I pulled this look together for under $50 all in. See before and after pics.

Not too shabby, eh!?!

We are very fortunate to have two area women owned small businesses that carry a sundry of DIY creative products including furniture transfers.

Shelly Venus and Beth Altenburger are great resources if you want to get started on your own redesign or upcycling project.
