Join Marc Spagnuolo (the Wood Whisperer) as he hosts Rob Cosman on Friday and Saturday 28 & 29 June 2024 for an unforgettable dovetailing learning event at Marc’s Wood Whisperer workshop in Wentzville, Missouri.
This fundraising event consists of three ticketed events:
A two-hour meet and greet with Marc and Rob.
A four-hour through dovetail seminar with BBQ
A four-hour half-blind dovetail seminar with BBQ.
All ticket sales/donations go to the Purple Heart Project 501(c)(3) non-profit to support combat wounded Veterans and are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.
Ticketed Events
Meet and Greet Marc and Rob (7:00pm - 9:00pm, Friday, 28 June): $50 minimum donation. Meet, chat and network with Marc and Rob during this 2-hour, stand-up social event in Marc’s workshop. Share your passion for woodworking and gain insights from these two masters.
Through Dovetailing Seminar with Rob Cosman (9:00 am – 1:00 pm, Saturday 29 June): $250 minimum donation. Marc hosts Rob Cosman as Rob demonstrates and shows you the secrets to perfect hand-cut through dovetails using Rob’s dovetail offset method. Rob covers how to prepare your stock, lay out the joint, saw to your lines, the offset method, waste removal, joining right from the saw cut, glue-up, and dovetail tools. After the instruction (12:00pm-1:00pm), enjoy a BBQ sandwich lunch as part of the seminar.
Half-Blind Dovetailing Seminar with Marc and Rob (2:00pm – 6:00pm Saturday 29 June): $250 minimum donation. Marc hosts Rob Cosman as Rob demonstrates and shows you the secrets to perfect hand-cut half-blind dovetails using Rob’s dovetail offset method. Rob covers how to prepare your stock, lay out the joint, saw to your lines, the offset method, finishing the cut with a kerf extension tool, waste removal, joining right from the saw cuts, glue-up, and dovetail tools. After the instruction (5:00pm - 6:00pm), enjoy a BBQ sandwich dinner as part of the seminar.

Availability. Each event is limited to a maximum of 40 ticket sales.

Doors Open. Doors open 45 minutes prior to the start of each event.
Entrance. Please present your ticket at the door.
