Shop with a Cop - Bullhead City

Shop with a Cop - Bullhead City The Bullhead City Shop with a Cop program is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the under 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Sometimes police can come across as scary to young children who do not understand a police officer's true duty, which is to protect and keep the innocent safe. The Shop With A Cop Program shows the true hearts of the police officers. Each year through this program, 115 local children whose families are struggling to provide the necessary things a child needs in life enjoy a morning of shopping, fe

llowship, and fun with local police officers. Note: This page is for the fundraising events. The fundraising board does not register or having any input on the selection for the children who will be invited for the shopping. That is done through their school.

The Shop with a Cop Board of Directors would like to express our deepest gratitude to Matt Laughlin, the Donald J. Laughlin Foundation, and the Riverside Resort and Casino for their generous $2,500 donation. This support helps us provide positive, meaningful experiences with law enforcement for local children and our entire community—not only during the holiday season, but throughout the entire year.
The Laughlin family has a long history of supporting children’s programs, and we are truly honored to receive both this donation and the kind letter from Mr. Laughlin, who shared, “Your commitment to uplifting our community is truly inspiring.” His words and generosity mean a great deal to our board and volunteers.
This contribution goes a long way in helping fund the many events Shop with a Cop undertakes each year, including our annual Shop with a Cop event held the first Saturday in December. During this special day, 115 underprivileged children enjoy breakfast, a parade of patrol vehicles, and a $150 shopping spree at Walmart alongside local officers, creating lasting memories and positive connections.
In addition to the shopping event, Shop with a Cop proudly partners with the Fraternal Order of Police to bring Santa and his sleigh to neighborhoods across Bullhead City. Each year, during the two-week program we travel throughout the community to various locations including assisted living facilities and youth-serving organizations, sharing generous gifts and engaging thousands of community members of all ages.
None of this would be possible without the incredible support of the entire tri-state community. We are sincerely grateful to the Laughlin family and the hard-working team of the Riverside Resort and Casino for helping us continue this important mission.
