SO excited that 1st Avenue opened back up! We appreciate everyone who has supported small businesses during construction. …but we’re still here making chocolates, candy, and sweet treats every day at The Sweet Elephant 🍫

Construction has definitely made things quieter downtown lately, and every single person who still makes the trip in means more than you know to small businesses like ours.

If you’ve been meaning to stop in, this is your reminder that we’re open — and we’d truly love to see you ❤️

Thank you for continuing to shop small, support local, and stick with downtown Buffalo businesses through the mess and mud. Better days (and smoother roads 😅) are ahead.

Strawberries are making their way to Buffalo if you’re out and about this afternoon! We have our signature Strawberry Shortcake Dipped Berry with either a milk, dark, or milk/white berry to accompany it and a milk and dark chocolate caramel 🍫🍓

LAST CALL for Mother’s Day chocolate strawberries & dipped treats 🍓🍫

We only have a small number of custom order spots left before Mother’s Day weekend, and once they’re full, that’s it 👀

Chocolate covered strawberries, dipped treats, berry bouquets, custom boxes, and more are still available — but we are getting very close to cutoff.

We will have strawberries available Saturday morning if you want to stop in and grab those. Deliveries for custom orders will be Saturday and Sunday morning!

Buffalo’s downtown is getting a makeover… which unfortunately means construction season has arrived 😅

Due to the ongoing downtown roadwork and construction impacts, The Sweet Elephant will have adjusted hours temporarily.

Projected New Hours:
Friday: 10-4pm
Saturday: 10-4pm
Sunday: 10-2pm

These hours may change, and I’ll reflect that in our social media pages and on Google.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and support while downtown businesses work through the mess now for a better downtown later 🐘🍫
