We had a great time Interlochen camp this past weekend picking up our daughter (who was there doing visual art), presenting a class to the percussion students and exploring the old stomping grounds (I spent summers of ‘94 & ‘95 there). The new percussion building is incredible. But I miss the old percussion huts pictured above. Thanks to Keith Aleo Karli Viña Nick Sakakeeny for hosting me!

Rest in peace, Amy Salsgiver . Amy and I played in youth orchestra together in high school and spent the summer of ‘96 together at EMF. She was a class act all around. She will be missed and remembered. Our deepest condolences to her family in Ohio and her devoted community of friends in Istanbul.

We added a second, smaller clicker press to the family recently. Great for our smallest dies. Thanks to our good friend Chris for rewiring it and converting it to single phase power. This morning I’m clicking leather discs for our hard Swizzles.
