Greasy Creek General Store

Greasy Creek General Store We are a small family business in Buffalo, MO. carrying items for spring, summer, fall, and winter. Everything we carry is locally home-grown and vine-ripened.
(243)

Our store has seasonal phases that rotate us through the whole year. We get started in early spring with bedding plants for the garden-growers. We carry a wide variety of vegetable plants, some melons, some berries, and herbs. We also carry flowers and hanging baskets, as well as lawn and patio cedar furniture that has been handcrafted right here in Buffalo. As soon as the gardens come on, we begi

n handling fresh, farm-grown, vine-ripened produce. Green beans are a main crop for us, and we've sold hundreds of pounds of them over the last few years. Other favorites are tomatoes, cucumbers, all kinds of squash and peppers, new potatoes, egg plant, and you name it. What we don't grow right here in our own gardens on Greasy Creek Hill, we get from the Mennonites of Lead Mine, MO. In addition to our produce line, we carry some basic grocery items. Milk is in the fridge; bread is on the counter; jams, jellies, honey, apple butter, and sorghum line the shelves. We also carry cookies and breads from the Lead Mine Mennonite bakery! Country, Primitive, and Rustic Home Décor is a big part of our General Store all year around, but especially during the fall and winter months when the gardens have died out. We carry a large line of bathroom and kitchen accents, high-quality Thompson wax crumbles, candles, LED flameless candles, wax warmers, candle holders & accessories, chicken wire and other country items, baskets, and a large line of Mason Jar items like soap dispensers, lights, lamps, containers, and many other gifts and goodies. You can also find anything from old-fashioned aprons to country grapevine wreaths to cast iron skillets to bird houses & feeders. In the fall we deck the place out with straw bales, pumpkins and gourds, corn stalks, and indoor decor. During the Christmas season we carry a large assortment of tree ornaments, snowmen, nativity sets, and other holiday decor. Over in our blacksmith shop, Josh Bush makes a variety of things like hooks, towel holders, ornamental pieces, and more. Since 2016, events and workshop classes have joined the ranks of what Greasy Creek General Store is all about. We host several large events throughout the year, and regularly have classes scheduled to teach interested students some of the dying arts of our heritage. Check out our Events tab for a look at what we have scheduled on the calendar.

Midweek Morning Update (6/24):

Good morning again! We’ve got a cloudy, kind of dreary morning out there right now, but it looks like this day is going to be better than originally expected. We have the chances of precip down to 10% & 20% here and there throughout the day, and it looks like we’ll be seeing some sunshine along with the clouds. So maybe we can count on some outdoor work today after all. We’ll just have to wait and see how it goes!

Ok, the big news was posted yesterday late afternoon when I returned with some awesome bi-color sweet corn! This is the good stuff like I picked up last year. This corn is called “Temptress”, and is a take-off of the Peaches & Cream, but a little sweeter and longer lasting than most sweet corn varieties. Usually, we need to move corn out within a couple of days (which isn’t difficult at all here), but I found some Temptress sweet corn last year and purchased it late in the week, leaving it over the weekend, and after several days I tried some and it was still very sweet and flavorful. Much longer lasting than any of the other varieties we’d had.
These are the first of the season, so a little higher, but are really worth it. They are all naturally grown, of course non-GMO, and ready to enjoy on the grill, steamed, or however you like them! (I actually like it raw to really test the sweetness & flavor). They are running 65¢ ea. on this first batch, but boy are they good!!
I also picked up some hard-neck Garlic for the first time in several years. We’ve had many requests for it lately, and it’s either not available, or very expensive. I picked up these as cheap as I could, but they still seem high to me (.95¢ ea.). But again, they really are very good quality with a wonderful aroma to them!
And I was able to pick up some eggplant and restock on our gold tomatoes yesterday as well.

Ok, for the weather today…
Unless this ‘trusty app’ is lying to me again, we’re looking at a mix of sunshine & clouds off and on throughout the entire day, up to around 3pm when the clouds overtake things. I’m not seeing any high chances of precip until later on this evening (around 9pm). The high should be around the 80º mark, with light winds from the southwest, an average humidity level of 80%, and the UV index sitting at a very high ‘8’. The sunrise occurred at 5:52 this morning with the setting being at 8:38 tonight. And the overnight low should be 66º.
“At this point”, the forecast for tomorrow shows some significant chances of storms & showers off and on, but like yesterday… we’ll wait until tomorrow to talk more about that.

In the General Store today…
Our produce lineup is very good this morning, with fresh red tomatoes, gold tomatoes, green tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, chopper peppers, sweet banana peppers, zucchini squash, yellow squash, new potatoes (white and red), sweet onions (red, white, and yellow), green cabbage heads (large and regular), red cabbage, eggplant, sweet corn, garlic, and fresh green beans (pretty much a full house, minus the melons!).
Our cabbage heads are still ON SALE… large heads are $2.95 and smaller heads of green or red cabbage are $1.29.
BTW, they had the first crops of cantaloupes at the auction yesterday, however, with the recent onslaught of rain, the melons were on the borderline of being diluted in flavor and I didn’t want to begin the season with that! I’ll be monitoring the situation closely and bring some in as soon as I know they are good ones!

Our farm-fresh, free-range eggs are in decent stock, as well as all of our canned goods, pure raw honey, and apple butters. We also have several awesome baked goods available this morning as well.
The meat freezer is still in good shape with all-natural ground beef, some awesome steaks, and other fine cuts of all-natural, Hereford beef from the local McCorkill Family Farms.
The Barn Room is stocked as usual with garden items, including bulk garden seeds, organic fertilizers, natural soil additives, heavy-duty garden tools, soaker hoses, and all of the other garden accessories.

Outside the General Store today…
A few nice 8” patio pots are still available, on sale for $3.00ea., and our remaining garden vegetable plants are all moving out by this weekend, so if you need something, stop by.
We also still have some bedding flowers, succulents, perennials, and various pots, out there as well.

Around the Farmstead today…
If today’s forecast holds true, then Coley will be back in the garden working again. Yesterday she took out all of the spent zucchini and yellow squash plants, and we’re going to plant another round of things as soon as the weather breaks. She also weeded a row of some of the worst weeds we had and will be hitting the other rows ASAP.
When I got back from the auction, I needed to set up our new products in the system, reprint our current produce listing for the counter, and make some signs, so I really didn’t get much time to do anything else. I’m planning on getting back to my June deadline for the new storage room to be in operation! We still need to make shelving in there, so I’m really pressed on time, but… we’ll give it our best shot!

Well, that’s about it for today’s update.
So, you all have a GREAT Wednesday, and give it your best shot!!

I just rolled in with some awesome bi-color corn, freshly picked by the Leadmine Mennonites. Nice, sweet ears ready to enjoy, non-GMO & farm fresh! (.65/ear). These are full of flavor!

We also picked up some fresh eggplant ($1.39 ea.), and also finally got some garlic in stock!

I also brought back some gold tomatoes!!

Tuesday Morning Update (6/23):

Good morning to all on this foggy beginning of a beautiful day! Yesterday’s forecast was way off, with very little sun showing up most of the day. I’m hoping today’s forecast will be more accurate, showing much more sunshine before we see storms setting in tomorrow and through the weekend!
But, we live from day to day and should enjoy each day to its fullest, so we’ll focus on today right now.

Yesterday was a little slower in the General Store, but we were able to get several things accomplished around here so it’s all good. I picked up another huge load of pure, raw honey from the Amish at Dunnegan, and then went to the auction at Hickory Co. Prices got somewhat out of hand there yesterday, so I actually came home with nothing from that auction. We mainly needed some green beans, but as few as there were, and as many large buyers there, I knew that wasn’t going to work. I’m not going to put beans in here for over $4 per pound! So, I contacted the Amish folks from Conway and have 4 boxes on the way to me this morning. We’ll have them available by 9am when we open this morning.

I'll be going to the Leadmine auction today, as well as dropping off our baked goods order for Friday, so maybe things will be a little better there. We’ll see how that goes.

I did pick up another order of fresh REAL sourdough loaves made by ‘Stude-A-Baker’ yesterday. We found out about this authentic bread from our friends Jeff & Tanya at J&T Country Store in Roach, MO. They handle it and sell lots of loaves each week! The company that makes it is based in Linn Creek, MO, up in the lake area, and their bread is selling like crazy there. I’ve tried the bread myself and was amazed at how good it was… just like the vintage recipes of the early days when sourdough was a normal term in our country! One amazing thing about it is the ingredient listing is so basic… “water, flour, and salt”. No added this and that, or the long list of other things you can’t even pronounce! And they also have a few variations with different seasonings added and such. In this last order, we picked up some French onion sourdough, and also one called “Everything” seasoning (which smells DELICIOUS!). Next time I’m going to get a few loaves of their “Cranberry Pecan” sourdough to try here as well.
As quickly as it has sold, I believe it’s going to be a full time product in our store!

Ok, for the weather today…
We (should be) looking at a nice day with mostly sunshine during the morning hours, sun & clouds in the afternoon, and a high reaching around 78º. The winds will be light and from the southwest most of the day. The average humidity dropped down to 73%, with the UV index set at a very high ‘8’. The sunrise took place at 5:52, and the setting will be at 8:38 this evening. And the overnight low should be 67º.
Tomorrow should begin our rainy spell for the week, but as shaky as the weather patterns have been, we’ll wait until tomorrow for that!

In the General Store today…
Our produce lineup is still decent this morning, with fresh red tomatoes, green tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, chopper peppers, sweet banana peppers, zucchini squash, yellow squash, new potatoes (white and red), sweet onions (red, white, and yellow), green cabbage heads (large and regular), red cabbage, and fresh green beans.
Our cabbage heads are still ON SALE… large heads are $2.95 and smaller heads of green or red cabbage are $1.29.
Our farm-fresh, free-range eggs are in good stock, as well as all of our canned goods, pure raw honey, and apple butters. We also have several awesome baked goods available this morning as well.
The meat freezer is in good shape with all-natural ground beef, some awesome steaks, and other fine cuts of all-natural, Hereford beef from the local McCorkill Family Farms.

The Barn Room is still well-stocked as usual with garden items, including bulk garden seeds, organic fertilizers, natural soil additives, heavy-duty garden tools, soaker hoses, and all of the other garden accessories.

Outside the General Store today…
Some nice 8” patio pots are still available, on sale for $3.00ea., and our remaining garden vegetable plants are all moving out SOON, so if you need something, stop by.
We also still have some various bedding flowers, succulents, perennials, and various pots, out there as well.
If you are needing any of these… come on out and we'll help!

Around the Farmstead today…
Coley was out much of the day yesterday, so we didn’t get much done around here. I did get the lights up in the new storage room, and now we have lighting in there so I can finish that one last wall. It’s a small area and shouldn’t take long at all, but we couldn’t cover it up until we had lighting inside. After that… we begin the shelving for the room! Then we’ll be done, except for filling it up… which won’t take long to do.
Then, I’ll be moving lots of things around in the present ‘back room’, taking out equipment we no longer use in there, as well as some parts cabinets and other things that will be going into the Big Shop. I know… “Just cram it in that Big Shop and get it out of our way!” But this time it’s different!! I’m going to move some large bulky items on an entire wall in the Big Shop, out to the storage overhang attached to the shop. That includes several chairs, some tables, and other things that really don’t need to be inside there. Then I’ll be able to change that large area in the shop into a more usable and workable area that will hold the cabinets and such (if you follow all that!). Anyway, it will be much easier to access everything out there.

Whew!! That was a LOAD of information that wore me out just sayin’ it! I can only imagine what it did to YOU!

Better stop and wish you all a GREAT Tuesday!! Now… go rest and recoup before doing anything else! (And don't forget to run by and grab some sourdough bread when you can!)

Monday Morning Update (6/22):

Welcome to summer!! The official first-day-of-summer was yesterday, June 21st, which is supposed to be the longest day of the year. Now, two things to remember here… one, it’s already been summer to us once June arrives, school is out, vacations are in full bloom, and days are reaching into the 90’s with humidity levels rising as well. And two… ironically enough, today is going to be a rather cool day with temps barely making the low 70’s by 3pm, and winds from the northeast!! What a way to welcome ‘summer’ into the picture!
Well, I’m glad we’ll be nice & cool today anyway, and it should be a great day for getting things done outside!

Ok, Saturday was a huge surprise, with sales that day being higher than we’ve ever seen on a Father’s Day Saturday before. Cynthia and I were attempting to finish the new storage room, so Josh had it all by himself. He seemed to keep up with things as most of the traffic was fairly steady instead of heavy all at once. Cynthia came in a few of times to help him move along if several were here waiting, but other than that, he was a solo most of the time.
In the room, we did get all of the inside walls up, most of the electrical stuff completed, and things cleaned up in there. There is still one small wall next to the door opening that will need siding on the outside, insulation put in, and the inside wall put up, which should be a quick, easy task to do. We left it open as we didn’t have any inside lighting in the room. I’m thinking we’ll be ready to do the door by tomorrow and then coat the outside walls with stain and sealant, as well. It’s supposed to rain on Wednesday, so we’re hoping all goes well and we can get it done before too much rain hits the unfinished siding!

For the weather today…
Definitely a cooler day with a high of 71º, light winds from the northeast, and an average humidity level of 83% (a little high). The UV index is at a high ‘7’ today, mainly during the periods of sunshine among the clouds. The sunrise was at 5:51 this morning with the setting at 8:37 tonight, and the overnight low should be 58º.
Tomorrow begins our warming trend again, with a high reaching the 80’s and a mix of sun & clouds.

In the General Store today…
Our produce lineup is decent this morning, with fresh red tomatoes, green tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, chopper peppers, sweet banana peppers, zucchini squash, yellow squash, new potatoes (white and red), sweet onions (red, white, and yellow), green cabbage heads (large and regular), red cabbage, and green beans (low).
Our cabbage heads are still ON SALE… large heads are $2.95 and smaller heads of green or red cabbage are $1.29. I’ll be going to the Hickory Co. auction today to see if I can pick up some yellow tomatoes and green beans, along with anything else we may need to restock… we’ll see!
Our farm-fresh, free-range eggs are in good stock, as well as all of our canned goods, pure raw honey, and apple butters. Our honey is getting low, so I’ll be going to Dunnegan before the auction to pick up another large order of it. Oh, we also have several awesome baked goods available this morning as well.
The meat freezer is also in good shape with all-natural ground beef, some awesome steaks, and other fine cuts of all-natural, Hereford beef from the local McCorkill Family Farms.

The Barn Room is still well-stocked with garden items, including bulk garden seeds, organic fertilizers, natural soil additives, heavy-duty garden tools, soaker hoses, and all of the other garden accessories.

We also still have some various bedding flowers, succulents, perennials, and various pots, out there as well.
If you are needing any of these… come on out and we'll help!

Around the Farmstead today…
With the auction today, I’ll probably not get much done outside, however, Coley is back and should get to work out there again. She probably will be back on some cleanup, but I may have her in the garden catching things up for me. We have several cherry tomatoes to pick, along with some zucchini and also several bell peppers. Also, our cucumbers are beginning to come on and a few have already been harvested, so we’ll be checking them as well.
If I do have time at all this morning, I plan on hooking up the electrical line to the new room before the store opens. Then we’ll just have to see how things go before planning on much more.

Guess that about all, so I’d better go and leave you all 'in peaces' again!
Have a GREAT Monday… and enjoy this “summer” weather today!!

Friday Morning Update (6/19):

What a beautiful morning it is out there today!! We are heading into a gorgeous day, with highs in the low 80’s and plenty of sunshine!
Yesterday was another great day at the General Store, as we had the privilege of taking care of many customers again, supplying them with fresh and nutritious farm produce. The Hickory Co. auction was also a good one as I was able to restock on many of our items, including red tomatoes, green tomatoes, cabbage, new potatoes, onions, and fresh green beans. We’re good & stocked up for the weekend now!

Today I’ll be going to the Leadmine auction to see what they have, as well as picking up our large baked goods order from the bakery. I’ll also be getting another order of the large, freshly baked sourdough bread. I picked up several loaves to try last week and they didn’t last long! These are the large, ‘old fashioned’ round sourdough loaves, made the way they did them in the 1800’s, and they are delicious!! We’ll have them available as soon as I return this afternoon.

For the weather today…
Sun mixed with some clouds will continue most of the day, with a high around 82º and light winds from the east. The average humidity level will be 61%, and the UV index is set for at a high ‘7’. The sunrise was at 5:51 this morning with the setting at 8:37 tonight. And the overnight low should be 62º.
At this point, our Saturday forecast is showing some chances of precip in the morning hours, and again in the later afternoon, with a high of 86º and light winds from the south. Most of the showers would be fairly early, if they materialize. We’ll just have to look for any updates as we get closer. I’m going to forecast that we’ll have another beautiful day… just sayin’.

In the General Store today…
Our produce lineup is doing very well this morning, with fresh red tomatoes, gold tomatoes, green tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, chopper peppers, sweet banana peppers, zucchini squash, yellow squash, new potatoes (white and red), sweet onions (red, white, and yellow), green cabbage heads (large and regular), red cabbage, and fresh green beans.
Our cabbage heads are ON SALE this weekend… large heads are $2.95 and smaller heads of green or red cabbage are $1.29. BTW, there as SO many ways to enjoy this awesome vegetable! From salads to soups, to main dishes mixed with meats… boiled, fried, baked, or roasted, it’s one of the most versatile and nutritious foods out there! No wonder there are so many old-time recipes, stories, and even songs about this flavorful cultivar! As many folks used to say in the vintage days… “If you have cabbage growing in your garden, you can make it through the hard times!!”

Our farm-fresh, free-range eggs are in good stock, as well as all of our canned goods, pure raw honey, and apple butters. And we also have several awesome baked goods available this morning.
The meat freezer is also in good shape with all-natural ground beef, some awesome steaks, and other fine cuts of all-natural, Hereford beef from the local McCorkill Family Farms.

The Barn Room is still well-stocked with garden items, including some late seed potatoes, bulk garden seeds, organic fertilizers, natural soil additives, heavy duty garden tools, soaker hoses, and all of the other garden accessories.

Outside the General Store today…
Some nice 8” patio pots are still available, on sale for $3.00ea., and our remaining garden vegetable plants are all on sale for 75¢/4pk, including some cucumbers, squash, tomato plants, and a few peppers.
We also still have some various bedding flowers, succulents, perennials, and various pots, out there as well.
If you are needing any of these… come on out and “let’s make a deal”!

Around the Farmstead today…
We’ll see how much time I have after the auction today before planning on anything. I wasn’t able to get much done on the new room yesterday, so I’m really ‘chomping at the bit’ to get back on it! We’ll see how things go this afternoon.

That’s about all for today’s update, so be careful out there and enjoy the weekend!
Have a GREAT Friday!!

06/18/2026

Thursday Morning Update (6/18):

We had quite the thunder and lightening show early this morning, and let’s just say, everything got a GOOD watering out there! I didn’t get a measurement of how much rain we got, but it was a significant amount by the looks of all the puddles, pans, and other things filled up!
There are some lighter chances of more precip later this afternoon so we’ll have to see what happens today. The rest of the day looks to be a decent one, with some sunshine showing and lower temps.

Yesterday was another good day in the General Store with lots of fresh produce going out, and also a productive day again on the projects. We began putting up the ceiling in the new room, and I hope to continue with that today.
Installing the first 4’x8’ sheet is always the biggest task when doing these projects, especially when you are working with rooms that are added on or attached to existing buildings which may have settled or are not completely square. When you nail up the first one, you need to make sure it is square enough for the rest of them to line up from it. Many times, you have to ‘fudge’ the edges around, measuring on all sides, so the next panels will be as square to the room as possible. So, it took us a few tries to put the first panel up on the ceiling, but I believe the remaining panels will be as square as possible, and fit well on both sides. I’d like to get the ceiling completed today, or at least close to finished, so we can begin the walls next. Nicole will be out for a while today, so Josh will have to be in the store during that time, so… we’ll see.

For the weather today…
We should have some sunshine along with the clouds this morning, turning to mostly cloudy skies by the afternoon hours. The high should be 72º, with light winds from the north to keep things cool, an average humidity of 73%, and a UV index of ‘6’ (during the sunny times). The sunrise was at 5:50 this morning with the setting taking place at 8:36 tonight. And the overnight low should be in the low 60’s.
Tomorrow will raise the temps back up to the low 80's, and give us more sunshine throughout the day.

In the General Store today…
Our produce lineup is still doing well, with fresh red tomatoes, gold tomatoes, green tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, some chopper peppers, sweet banana peppers, zucchini squash, yellow squash, new potatoes (white and red), sweet onions (red, white, and yellow), green cabbage heads (large and regular), red cabbage, and still some asparagus (low).

The Barn Room is again well-stocked with garden items, including some late seed potatoes, bulk garden seeds, organic fertilizers, natural soil additives, heavy duty garden tools, soaker hoses, and all of the other garden accessories.

Outside the General Store today…
Some nice 8” patio pots are still available, on sale for $3.00 ea., and our remaining garden vegetable plants are all on sale for 75¢/4pk, including some cucumbers, squash, tomato plants, and a few peppers.
We also still have some various bedding flowers, succulents, perennials, and various pots, out there as well.

Around the Farmstead today…
As soggy as things look to be, I’m probably not going to get much else done around here again, but the new room has got to be finished ASAP so we can make our ‘end-of-June’ deadline! I’m also getting lots done in the back office room of the store as I continue to move repair things out to the new areas I’m creating in the Big Shop (sounds much easier than it really is!). The nice thing about all of this is, the areas that are being made out there are now organized with easy-to-find places for things! If I can keep this up, I’ll eliminate much of the time I spend LOOKING FOR THINGS! That in itself is an incredible improvement! The only problem is, with my memory being so good, (but so short), I may need a ‘location chart’ to find the correct areas for the items I’m looking for!!
Just kidding!! Now, where was I…

Oh yes, have a GREAT Thursday!!

06/17/2026

Midweek Morning Update (6/17):

Here we are at another ‘middle-of-the-week’ again… Is it just me or is time passing, no, ‘flying by’ at a lightening fast speed?!! Slow down already, so we can enjoy each cherishing moment! (Maybe I should say that while looking in the mirror…)

Well, it is certainly another nice morning anyway, with lots of potential ahead, depending on what your goals are today. I know… I’ve heard that it’s dangerous to only judge how good a day is by how much you accomplish, but if you stop and think about it, we’re all accomplishing something, be it work, or rest, or pleasure, or difficult goals, or… you name it. I’ve heard stories and know of some individuals who retired and made a point to do ‘nothing’… and their lives began to deteriorate, as well as their bodies and minds. I don't believe we were created to do ‘nothing’, but rather to be working at things, prosperous in what we do (not just talking about $ here), helping others, and learning to enjoy the simpler things in life. (Just say’in)

Anyway, yesterday was a good day again in the General Store, and also on our on-going project. We sold lots of produce yesterday, as well as baked goods and some ‘incidental’ items, as well. The Leadmine auction was also decent, but a few things were going higher than I’d expected. Nothing has changed as far as our prices, but I’m certainly going to be watching things closely. I’m really expecting costs to lower down when more stock comes into the auctions. I was able to restock on red, gold, and green tomatoes, cucumbers, new potatoes, and onions, so we should be good to go for a while.

For the weather today…
We’re going to have a nice, sunny day, but a bit on the warm side, reaching 90º. The winds will be moderate today and from the southwest, with the average humidity level at 64% (at least it’s not 80%!!). The UV index is at a very high ‘10’ once again, and with the full sun and temps, so please be careful out there. They are also calling for some significant chances of precip and storms later this evening. The sunrise happened a 5:50 this morning and will set at 8:36 tonight. And the overnight low should be around 72º.
Tomorrow cools off, with highs in the low 70’s, and some light chances of more precip scattered throughout the day. It’s one of those “just-have-to-see” days, so we’ll not mention too much right now.

In the General Store today…
Our produce lineup is doing well, restocked with fresh red tomatoes, gold tomatoes, green tomatoes, cucumbers, new potatoes, and onions. We’re also good on bell peppers, chopper peppers, sweet banana peppers, zucchini squash, yellow squash, green cabbage heads (large and regular), red cabbage, green beans, and some asparagus.
Our farm-fresh, free-range eggs are restocked, as well as all of our canned goods, pure raw honey, and apple butters. And we also have several awesome baked goods available this morning.
The meat freezer is again in good shape with all-natural ground beef, some awesome steaks, and other fine cuts of all-natural, Hereford beef from the local McCorkill Family Farms.

The Barn Room is still well-stocked with garden items, including bulk garden seeds, organic fertilizers, natural soil additives, heavy duty garden tools, soaker hoses, and all of the other garden accessories.

Outside the General Store today…
We STILL have some nice 8” patio pots on sale for $3.00 ea, and our remaining garden vegetable plants are all less than half price now (75¢/4pk), with some cucumbers, squash, tomato plants, and a few peppers available. Those are looking somewhat poor, due to being root-bound and needing to be planted ASAP.
We also still have some various bedding flowers, succulents, perennials, and various pots, out there that need to be enjoyed by some flower-loving customers.

Around the Farmstead today…
I’m not sure what to expect today on our new backroom since I need some help putting up walls and Josh has been busy. Coley is out this week, so I can’t grab her to help. But, I’ve been moving things around that will need to be out of the way before we can finish the transition anyway, so no problem. That's the slow phase, sorting and moving things out of the current back room of the store that really don’t need to be there, so we can utilize each part of it to better serve the General Store. Of course, to move things means I have to ‘create room’ somewhere else, which could only be the Big Shop (where everything seems to end up!!). But, once again, I’ve found places to accommodate those items! Just takes time… Which BTW, I’m out of this morning!

So have a GREAT Wednesday!!
