👋 𝙈𝙀𝙀𝙏 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝘼𝙍𝙏𝙄𝙎𝙏: Hey now! I’m Morgan—the hands and heart behind Liberation In Light Stained Glassworks 🌞

My work is more than art; it is a living tribute...

In 2016, my firstborn sun, Kali, was killed due to 𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦. His light, name, and memory are woven into every piece I create. I am also the mother of two living children, who keep me grounded and remind me every day why I am still here.

✨𝘼 𝙇𝙀𝙂𝘼𝘾𝙔 𝙊𝙁 𝙇𝙄𝙂𝙃𝙏✨

My dad, who began teaching me stained glass at ~12 years old, also lives on through my craft. He discovered the stained glass artform in the 𝟭𝟵𝟳𝟬𝘴, while recovering from a near-fatal motorcycle crash. After losing his leg and breaking several bones, he began to pick up the pieces... In his healing, he turned 𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙚—transforming loss into light, one shard at a time.

For 𝟮𝟱 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙨, he created beauty in glass—until his own battles carried him beyond this world. I now sit at his very same workbench to carry on this 𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙘𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩.

My art is deeply personal, yet meant to be shared. Through stained glass, I channel the beauty in both 𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚.

Whether honoring the past, reclaiming power, or simply bringing more light into the world—𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙜𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙠𝙚𝙣 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙚.

Light moves through fractured glass the way 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙛—illuminating what remains.

Following my infant Sun Kali's killing in 2016, I closed my art studio and deepened into my grief. Since his death I've done little more than seek accountability and justice for my child.

Only recently have I felt the inspiration to enter my home studio and create again. My Sun now shines by the light that passes through these creations.
