What an amazing time at the Breakout "Kick"nic and class in the grass. Thanks to everyone who came out and had a good time. I especially enjoyed watching everyone play yard games and chop up milk jugs with swords.

If you haven't heard yet, I have been given a new church to pastor in Cooperstown, North Dakota! I'm happy to report that Cornerstone Community Church is ready to build a Breakout branch! We have a beautiful gym to work from. I will be helping our Illinois clubs through calls, videos, mailings, and about 3 visits a year. I plan to come back for a promotion ceremony in September for any who want to test with me. I am happy to provide grand-master certificates for the students of any of our instructors by mail throughout the year. You guys are so talented, I believe in you 110%! I plan to load up to move on June 24th if possible. Give a call if you'd like to come help us move. I've heard rumors of a going away party. I'll get that info out as soon as I know. I will miss you all. Please contact me and keep in touch.

A second event to look forward to this month is the Riverbend Tournament on June 18th, in Muscatine, IA. Millennia always puts on a great event, and an away tournament is a great experience to make you a better, more motivated athlete. Did I mention TROPHIES?! If your club's head instructor can't go, see if you can get permission to go with the rest of breakout. We plan to pull out of the Buda parking lot at 7:30. We will likely be back at 6:30pm. Cost is $40 at the door, but if you can mail out the attached registration form by June 4th, you can compete in all 3 events (sparring, breaking, and forms) for $35.

June 4th we have a picnic again in Buda park. We'd love to see everybody out to eat and celebrate from 11 to 2pm. Weather permitting we will have "Class in the Grass" before that at 10 am. All schools are invited to send students to enjoy class. Meat and drinks will be provided. Please bring table service and a dish to pass. We will have yard games and demonstrations again. All are invited to join in.
