🏆🏆 Competition Que had us in Covington TN with a who's who of teams hitting all their marks right now. The Covington World's Oldest BBQ Festival has been at it for 54 years and does a great job!

We had a good cook on the Jambo, topless (aka no canopy) but, it was hummmmid
🐔 Tied for first place chicken with a perfect score (180) but lost the coin flip to take 2nd ( )
🐽 18th rib (nope)
🐷 21st Pork (oops, not with this crowd)
🐮 1st place perfect cow (180)
Finishing 12th overall with a 699.3

Congrats to all that heard their name as well as to Dang Good BBQ for Grand and Razorracks BBQ for Reserve!

🏆🏆 Couldn't have asked for better weather cooking Competition Que on the banks of the Arkansas River for the annual 103.7 THE BUZZBQ! Terri, Jima and the staff always do a great job with this event

With a 9th place chicken, 3rd place rib and 6th place pork, we finished 5th overall. Hugh Congrats to Blind Hog BBQ for the Grand, Bad Dog BBQ for Reserve and to all that heard their name 🏆🏆

Sometimes doing competition que, you want to be alone and laser focused on your cook, no distractions 😎. That's exactly what we had in Gilmer TX at the Risk It For The Brisket Outlaw BBQ Association BUT, that didn't work out for us 😆😆

This is a great contest with good music an excellent promoter team and community involvement that takes place around their town square

We were and a 9th place Prairie Fresh rib ( ). We did hit the final table on half chicken (oops, turn in time isn't at noon here) and brisket (2+yr old Prime 😆)

Big Congrats to Okie Folks Barbecue for the Grand and to all that heard their name. It was good to see some of our Texas folks we don't get to see, on to the next 'en...

We found our way over to Lebanon TN for some KCBS Competition Que action at the annual Smoke On The Shores event. This area has always been a 'toughie' for us and this year didn't disappoint 😆

Those Outlaw BBQ Smokers Ringo drums keep putting out perfect scores for us! and a 3rd place Prairie Fresh Rib (180 )

Congrats to all that heard their name but, the highlight of the weekend was seeing the emotional win from our good friends Razorracks BBQ bringing home the Grand Championship and punching their ticket to Vegas along with Kith n’ Kin Competition BBQ, Major Congrats to both!!

We're kind of playing it by ear this year with competition que, not sure where the road will send us next, Don't Burn The Day...

🏆🏆 We ran up to Fayetteville AR for the Boots, Brews, and BBQ at 'The Farm' on the UofA campus for their 2nd year KCBS competition, all around a great contest with awesome organizers and their team goes above and beyond taking care of everyone

We found some luck with the new Outlaw BBQ Smokers Ringo with a 2nd place chicken (180), 9th place Prairie Fresh ribs and 6th place Korte Meat Processing brisket, we won't talk about pork 😟 We had the whole team there for this one, just like 'old times' and it's always great to have some company and help

Big congrats to Munny's Stove for the Grand and to all that heard their name!!

We put the final bow on our Memphis Barbecue Network Competition year at the annual Que Ball this weekend in Tunica. The ladies of the MBN Women’s Club put on a top notch banquet celebrating 2025!

Although we didn’t plan on running up and down the Delta when we signed up for that first event, we did, and had a blast doing something ‘different’ and outside of our comfort zone.

Memories and Great friends were made, for sure!!

See y’all out there, somewhere, Don’t Burn The Day…
