The String & Horn Shop has provided quality string instruments to Central and Southeast Texas since 1979 and quality band instruments since the 1980s. We are centrally located in Bryan/College Station to serve school district music programs, private buyers, and universities from greater Austin to greater Houston, with nearly everything in between. As a family-owned business, our top priority is ma

king sure each customer gets the full attention desired in order to make an informed choice of products and services. We maintain an extensive inventory of name-brand instruments, which insures quality and consistency of sound across the board. Our primary goal is to provide quality instruments at a reasonable price so that more people are able to experience the joy of learning to play music. If you purchase an instrument outright from our store, you are guaranteed a substantial discount - in some cases up to 30 percent off retail for new and used instruments. We also offer straight rental and rent-to-own options, as well as Layaway, in addition to cash or credit purchases. (PLEASE NOTE: Our physical location in Austin at the Lincoln Village Shopping Center has temporarily closed. While we are looking for new real estate, we encourage you to take advantage of our twice-weekly school delivery service for your instrument rental and instrument supplies.
